Island View High School

December 1st, 2020

• Today’s mental health tip:

Routine is your friend: It helps to manage anxiety, and will help you to adapt more quickly to this current reality. Create clear distinctions between work and non-work time, ideally in both your physical workspace and your head space. Find something to do that is not work or school and is not virus-related that brings you joy. Working in short bursts with clear breaks will help to maintain your clarity of thought.

• Student Council executive meeting today at lunch in the cafeteria.

• We are extending the deadline for "Devils got talent" submissions until Thursday, December 3rd. The link to the submission form is available on the school website, Twitter and Instagram.  "Devil's got talent" will be in the form of a video that will later be shown in class. Details of how we will record your act will be sent out later this week!
