• All potential grads can write their grad quotes for the yearbook in google form posted on the potential grad classroom. Deadline for quotes will be March 15, 2021.

• The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children. Wearing this moose hide signifies your commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life and to work together to end violence against women and children.

JOIN US on the 11th of February 2021 to take part in our National Online Moose Hide Campaign Day and together, in solidarity, we can show our commitment to ending violence against women and children. Wear the Moose Hide Pin to share your commitment (they will be delivered to classes on the 11th). 

• Any Devils who wish to send a sweet message to a friend to be delivered on Friday, February 12, 2021, is asked to fill out the Candy Gram form available on the school website, Twitter and Instagram.  Form will close today at lunchtime!

• Devil of the month nomination form is available on the school website, Twitter and Instagram.

• The Government of Canada will be holding a Bilingual Virtual Summer Job Fair on Thursday, February 18. Both English speaking and Bilingual candidates, 15 years and older, are welcome to this presentation. For more information, please check in guidance.

• The Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service is currently looking for lifeguards to work at Nova Scotia beaches during the summer. Application deadline is March 4. Please see guidance for more information.

• Grad Photos and Retakes:

February 16 & 17: Grad Portrait Appointments for students who did not have their grad photo taken earlier this school year.

February 18 and 19:  Retakes

• Yearbooks are being pre-ordered online this year. The cost of a yearbook is $45 and the link is posted on the Island View High School website. Be sure to order your yearbooks early as there are a limited number available.

• Applications for Parking Permits may be made through the school’s website.
