• Any student who missed last week’s meeting for the 2024 Europe trip can get information on this trip by attending a brief meeting on Tuesday during lunch in the guidance office.

• Students who have purchased a yearbook may pick it up in the main lobby at lunch time today.

• The Island View High GSA will be having it's first meeting on November 2nd at lunch.  Anyone is welcome to join and participate.  The group meeting will take place in the Youth Health Centre, Room 311

• For anyone wanting to be a part of the Island View High Wellness Group, you are invited to come to the Youth Health Centre, Room 311 on Friday November 4th at lunch hour.  Members will meet at that time, and discuss goals for the school year.

• All potential grads have been added to the Potential Grad Google Classroom, please login to accept the invite.  If you did not receive an invite, please see Mr. White in room 309.

• Any students who are interested in helping with audio/video during the Remembrance Day Ceremony next month, please see Mr. White in room 309.

• We Scare Hunger - Food drive - October 24-31. Students & staff can drop off non-perishables during school hours in a box in the main office or outside of the student council room.

• Grad photos are rescheduled for November 25 and 28.  More information to follow on booking appointments.

• The application form for the IVHS multicultural fair is now available online.

• A reminder to grade 12 students to check the updated scholarship list on the guidance website and outside the guidance office.

• A representative from St. Mary’s University will be at the school on today during lunch. Students can get information on admissions, programs, scholarships and more. St. Mary’s will be waiving their application fee and offering on the spot admissions.

• Representatives from the Army Reserves will be at the school Wednesday, November 2 during lunch to provide information about the opportunities that are available with the reserves.

• Both SMU and the Army Reserves will be located outside the guidance office.
