Please attend our second Curriculum Night for the 2018-19 school year to be held on Thursday, February 28th. Curriculum Night gives parents/guardians an opportunity to meet their son’s/daughter’s second semester teachers, and learn about course outcomes and expectations, as well as assessment and evaluation practices. Curriculum night is usually held during the first month of a new semester and is not intended for individual conversations about a student’s progress but rather to lay the foundation for your understanding and partnership in assisting your son/daughter to be successful in his/her studies. Please feel free to ask your son’s/daughter’s teachers about Google Classroom and the way it could be used as a means of communication to know what your children are doing in their classes.
Please don’t wait until Parent/Teacher Visitations on April 30th from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm and from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm to learn about course expectations!
If you feel you need time with an individual teacher to discuss your son’s/daughter’s learning needs, please email or call the teacher to schedule an appointment.
If you have more than one student attending Island View High School you will need to select one schedule of classes to attend or “pick and choose” to create four periods (1, 2, 3, & 4) to follow on DAY A.

PowerSchool Access: please speak with our Guidance Staff (Room 207) if you need help with setting up or resetting your PowerSchool Account.
