International Day of the Girl Child Celebration

The Alexa McDonough Institute for Women, Gender, and Social Justice and Mount Saint Vincent University invite your staff, students and families to our third celebration of the United Nations International Day of the Girl Child.

On this day, we celebrate girls – their strengths, talents, abilities, and the actions they are taking to improve their communities around the world. We also acknowledge the challenges girls face and commit to protecting girls’ human rights and to promoting girls’ empowerment.

Be inspired by what girls from across Nova Scotia are doing to make a difference!

Light refreshments will be served.
