Island View High School – January Exam Schedule
The January exam schedule is posted below/attached for students in Grades 9–12.
- Grade 9: Students write Language Arts (English or French) and Math (English or Immersion). The schedule is teacher-specific, so Grade 9 students may be writing on different days/times—please confirm your child’s exam times using the schedule.
- Grades 10–12: Exams are based on student timetables and are written by block: A (Wed AM), B (Wed PM), C (Thu AM), D (Thu PM).
Exam times: Morning entry 8:00 AM, start 8:15 AM. Afternoon entry 11:15 AM, start 11:30 AM. Exams are written in the gym. Students not writing are expected to report to the cafeteria to prepare/study. Students must remain in the exam room for a minimum of one hour.
Friday, January 30 is an Assessment & Evaluation Day (no school for students). Any exam conflicts must be addressed directly with the classroom teacher.
