• The Dramafest planning meeting is rescheduled until Thursday, December 13, at lunch in room 214.  All are welcome.

• On December 19, the cafeteria will be serving roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings and dessert.  Cost is $7.75.  To pre-order dinner and purchase your ticket, please drop by the cafeteria before Friday, December 14, at 1 p.m.

• Wednesday, December 12 is our semi-formal dance which is from 6:30 pm- 9:30 pm at Island View. The cost of the dance is $6.00 per student with a non-perishable item and $7.00 without a non-perishable item. All students must have an Island View Student ID when they enter the dance.
Any students who have outstanding library books, or have not paid athletic fees for school teams or have received an Out of School Suspension (OSS) will not be permitted to go to the dance. If B block is your off-class, please check in with the guidance office to see if you have an overdue library book.

• Come to Room 214 after school on Tuesdays to play some tabletop games. 

• Any students interested in learning some computer programming, come join the coding club.  Coding club is every Thursday after school from 2:15 - 4 PM in room 309, Mr. White's room.   Bring your Chromebook. 

• Island View Devils Intramural program has begun:
Monday and Wednesday - open gym
Tuesday and Thursday - sport specific games 
Doors open at 10:50am and will close at 11:25am.

• There will be popcorn for sale today at lunch in the learning centre for $.50 a bag.
