• Any grade 12 student requesting permission to park on Island View High School grounds
during the 2020-21 school year must apply for an IVHS Parking Pass by October 9th, 2020.  After grade 12’s apply for a parking pass, IVHS will re-assess if parking is open to grade 11 students.  Please click on the following link to apply for a Parking Pass.

• Any grade 9 student interested in applying to be on Student Council, there will be a brief meeting Thursday at lunch in the cafeteria.

• Anyone interested in singing for our recording of the Remembrance Day Ceremony please see Ms. Mark in the band room any day at lunchtime.

• Any girl soccer players who need to pick up a uniform may do so at lunch in the student services office.  Please exit through your assigned door and re-enter through the main doors.

• Thursday- Cross Country Running- Dingle Park 4:00

• Thursday - Girls Volleyball Practice 2:30-4:00

• Friday – Boys soccer practice, 2:30 to 4

Upcoming Scholarships

There are a number of upcoming scholarships that are available in Guidance.

• The Loran Scholarship, where students must sign up to be considered for nomination. Interested students must sign up outside of guidance by Friday, October 9.  For more information on scholarships, please check in guidance.

• Dalhousie University - November 2 @ lunch
• Mount Saint Vincent University - November 4th @ lunch

• From Tuesday, October 13 to Friday, October 16, Mount Allison will be hosting its first ever Online Open House for prospective students and their families, as well as any school staff who are interested in learning more about the university.   For more detail visit Guidance or check out our daily announcements on the IVHS website.
