• School photo retakes are scheduled for Friday, October 14.

• A representative from Mount Saint Vincent University will be at Island View during lunch on Tuesday, October 11. During this visit students can get on-the- spot admissions, as well as have the admission fee waived. Students wishing to apply will need to get a copy of their transcript before Tuesday.

• A reminder that for the rest of October, students can apply to St. FX University for free. To do so, students will need a code; this code is posted on the guidance website.

• A reminder to grade 12 students to check the updated scholarship list on the guidance website and outside the guidance office.

• Girls soccer game today, 4:15 pm vs. Lockview at MicMac field

• Cross country practice for Friday has been cancelled, instead there will be practice today after school. Please meet in the gym

• The application form for the IVHS multicultural fair is now available online.

• Student-Athletes are reminded to pay their athletic fee into the office and return their Athlete contracts.

• Intramurals every Tuesday and Thursday until Dec 15th. The time for intramurals will be 10:45 to 11:20 AM.

• Basketball club will take place each Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30 pm in the gym. The first part will be skill and drills and the second part will be play!  This opportunity is open to ALL!  Come on out and shoot some hoops!
