The cafeteria is being used for a math contest during A Block. Students on off block may use the library for a space to work if needed.

Camp Courage is an 8-day program that introduces young women and gender-diverse youth to the emergency services, such as policing, firefighting, and paramedic. The deadline to apply to Camp Courage is March 15. Students can get more information in the guidance office.

The Youth Connect Program though the Military Families Resource Centre meet the last Wednesday of each month at lunch time in the Youth Health Centre. 

Reminder the deadline for fudge orders is Thursday, February 29.

MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Halifax Chapter’s Annual Prom Dress Drive and Sale takes place this year at their new location in Mic Mac Mall.   Saturday March 2, 9:30 am to 9 pm. and Sunday, March 3, noon to 5 pm.  The cost of each dress is $30.

Do you love music? The Island View DJ club is looking for new members. Learn how to become a DJ and start practicing your skills. Come by room 103+ at the start of lunch to learn more.

Learning Centre selling popcorn Tuesdays and Thursdays outside room 217 - fifty cents a bag.   Hot chocolate, with marshmallows, $1 on Fridays.

Improv Club meets Tuesdays on the stage after school. All are welcome. 

Reminder to grade 12 students to check the updated list of scholarships on the guidance website and posted outside of the guidance office.
