IVHS Late Registration: Wednesday, August 26, 2020 (9:00 am- 4:00 pm)

Entering Island View High School (Process)

1. IVHS will receive only one family at a time to register.
2. Everyone must wear a mask. Every family must social distance from other families. (2 meters apart)
3. School main office secretary will admit one family at a time to enter the school.
4. Secretary will ask the family Public Heath questions in terms of Covid-19.
5. Secretary will provide each family with registration forms.
6. Families will meet with school officials to complete registration.
7. Families will only be registered if all supporting documents are brought to the school site. If supporting documents are not able to be brought to the school site for registration, please contact the front desk at 902-466-6341 to make a future appointment.
8. If there is more than one family in the line-up and families have other commitments, please contact the main office at 902-466-6341 to make an appointment.

The following supporting documentsare requested for late registration:

Proof for Legal Name | Examples include:

• Birth certificate
• Passport
• Immigration papers
• Legal Name Change certificate
• Adoption documents

Proof for Date of Birth | Examples include:

• Adoption documents
• Immigration papers
• Birth certificate
• Passport

Proof of Residency | Examples include:

• Utility bill
• Bill of Sale

Other Information

• Nova Scotia Health Card Number (MSI) and Expiry Date

If the student is International/Immigration, the following documents will also be required:

• Proof of Medical Insurance
• Study or Work Permit
• Proof of Fee Paid
• Letter of Acceptance
• Immigration Papers

Once your registration and supporting documents have been reviewed and approved, we will connect you with the guidance counsellor or Registrar to complete student course selection.
