Dear Parents/Guardians:

Report Cards
Please be advised the EDUPOST system for viewing report cards will be open to students/ guardians tomorrow, June 29, until Monday July 5th.
Students may view their report through their GNSPES login dashboard.
Guardians will receive an email notification with instructions to view through EDUPOST. It is important to use the password/date in the format described.

It is important for student, parents and guardians to know that no physical report card (paper copy) will be presented nor will teachers be instructing classes on June 30/21..

Southland/Stock Busing
On June 30, buses will be quite late so students may wish to arrange alternate means of transportation.WE do not anticipate busses being at the school until after 10.
Contact the Transportation team at transportation@hrce.ca or 902-431-HRCE (4723) if you have questions about bussing for next year.
Summer Transcripts
Summer transcripts  will be printed the weeks of July 26-30 and August 23-27. Students will send an email to Mr. Tim O’Reilly and/or Mr.Nigel Mailman requesting a transcript. They in turn will reach out to students who requested transcripts by email, and provide them with a specific date and time to come to Island View to receive their transcripts.

Grad Video
Goodbye Grad video will go live on June 30. Students are asked to go to the Potential Grad Google classroom to access the video.
For Grads attending university or NSCC in Nova Scotia, please note that transcripts will be uploaded automatically after graduation.

We are still missing textbooks and library books.  Students are to return these items to the school by June 30 to avoid receiving an invoice.
Chromebooks that do not make it back to the school will be inaccessible.  We would appreciate getting back these valuable assets.

Congrats to our 2021 Grads!  We know you will make us proud!

We look forward to seeing our returning students and families next year.The first day of classes for students is Tuesday, September 7. With any luck we’ll be Covid-19 free!! WE will communicate public health plans for the school when we have that information.
