• A reminder that students will be picking their courses beginning this week and will need their PowerSchool information to do so. Students who do not know their username and password must go to guidance to get this information. Also, any student who has not received course selection information are asked to pick this up in guidance by Monday.

• Reminder the CRASH program is after school Mondays and Fridays in room 315.

• Jazz Band and Concert Band begin this week.  Sign-up in the band room.   Jazz Band, Wednesday after school.  Concert Band at lunch.  See Ms. Gendron if you have any questions.

• The Dramafest Playbuilding group will not be meeting today.

• Anyone interested in attending or learning about the Nova Scotia High School Dramafest are invited to come to the stage tomorrow at lunch for a quick information session. 

• The Tabletop Club will not be meeting today.

• The Eastern Passage/Cow Bay Lions Club is inviting grade 9-12 students who live in the area to participate in the annual Speak-Out Contest.  The contest consists of a five-minute speech and the speak-out will be held on March 18 at 7pm.  For more information and contact details, please drop by the main office before March 11.

• Island View’s first Art Club, Room 117 twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays.  Bring your lunch. 

• Pre-orders for yearbook will be taken on Wednesdays at lunch in the main lobby until March 29.  After that date, a yearbook cannot be purchased.  Cost of yearbook is $15.

• Come to Room 214 after school Tuesdays to play some tabletop games.

• Come out to badminton club in the gym on Mondays and Thursdays after school.  All are welcome.

• Yearbook committee meetings Mondays at lunch in room 321, new members are welcome.

• Coding club every Thursday after school from 2:15 - 4 PM in room 309. Bring your Chromebook.
