Starting Monday October 24th there will be “Halloweek” a Halloween themed spirit week. Stay tuned for the spirit of the day, which can be seen on the schools broadcast daily all next week. There will be lunch time activities on stage daily during the week.

We Scare Hunger - Food drive - October 24-31. Students & staff can drop off non-perishables during school hours in a box in the office or outside of the student council room.

Zombie tag - October 26 - at IVHS in the evening. We will need some staff volunteers. More details to come! 

Our Girls Soccer team trounced Cole Harbour yesterday 5-3. Zoe Marchand with 2 goals. Lily Pickrem also had 2 goals, while sister Claire Pickrem chipped in with a goal. Sara McPhee had 2 assists and Lauren Everett had one assist.

Great game by the girls to stay undefeated on the season.

Congratulations to all the Cross-Country runners who competed in the Regional competition yesterday at Point Pleasant Park. All 5 of our runners represented themselves, and Island View, with pride. A big congrats to Brooke Maccurdy finishing 11th in senior girls, and Chris Beach finishing 14th in senior boys, earning them a spot to compete at Provincials Monday Oct 24th at Point Pleasant Park.

Girls Volleyball practice today after school 2:30pm-4:30pm in the gym.

Our girls Hockey team will have their first game Monday October 17th @ Bay View 4:15pm St. Margaret's Center.

Don't forget about the bake sale happening today at lunch in support of our girl’s hockey team!
