• Attention all hockey fans! The girls hockey team plays at Shearwater today at     4pm. The Island View band will also be there to get the crowd going! Come on out to support the girl's hockey team!

• Boys and girls basketball teams meeting Wednesday at the beginning of lunch in the active healthy living room. It won't be long, so please be there as soon as you can.

• Pre-order your IVHS yearbook using the QR code posted around the school or the link posted on the school website or on Instagram. Cost for the yearbooks are $50 and the yearbooks will arrive in June. The deadline to pre-order a yearbook is February 21st, 2023, yearbooks can not be purchased after this date.

• Auditions for the Spring Dinner Theatre will take place Monday, January 9 at lunch and Tuesday, January 10 after school.  See Mr. Pierce for more information.

• Attention grade 12 students, nominations for The Schulich Scholarship, valued at $100,000, are now open. The Schulich Scholarship is open to students entering into a science, technology, engineering, or math program and who are creative, process strong leadership qualities and entrepreneurial-minded. Any grade 12 who would like to be considered for nomination of the Schulich Scholarship must sign up in guidance by Thursday January 12. For more information, please check with guidance

• The Eastern Passage Lion’s Club is looking for volunteers to help with their Tuesday night bingo. If you are a student trying to build your resume or get some extra volunteer hours for scholarship purposes, this can be a good opportunity. For more information, please see Mr. O’Reilly in guidance.

• All potential grads have been added to the Potential Grad Google Classroom, please login to accept the invite.  If you did not receive an invite, please see Mr. White in room 309.

• A reminder to grade 12 students to check the updated scholarship list on the guidance website and outside the guidance office.

• A reminder that we are a scent-aware building so please be respectful with the use of scents.
