A reminder that we are a scent-aware building so please be respectful regarding the use of scents.

A reminder to students that intramurals are Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, the gym will be closed next week during exams, even if you are here during the lunch hour.

Process exams will be going on in the gym this week. Students are reminded that the gym is a classroom, so please do not go in if it is not your class time.

Pre-order your yearbook using the QR code on any poster around the school or on the school website, the deadline is January 31, and no yearbooks can be pre-ordered after that date.

All potential grads please fill out the yearbook grad write-up on the potential grad classroom, deadline is January 31.

The Lions Clubs will be holding their Speak out Competition next month and students from Island View High are encouraged to participate. It is open to any student in grade 9, 10, 11, and 12. For more information, and to participate, please see Mr. O’Reilly in guidance.
I will need to know by January 26 at the latest if there are any students interested.  Please advise if you have any questions.

The potential grad list is now posted across from the main office. Grade 12 students are asked to check the list to ensure your name is there and is correct. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mr. O’Reilly in the guidance office.

Learning Centre selling popcorn Tuesdays and Thursdays outside room 217 - fifty cents a bag.

French club meets every second Wednesday.

Improv Club meets Tuesdays on the stage after school. All are welcome. 

School Liaison Dawn Gardiner is available in room 205 on Thursdays if you require assistance with Career Exploration, a resume, cover letter or interview prep.  Feel free to stop by and make an appointment on Thursdays.
