• This week is the Canadian Mental Health Association’s annual Mental Health Week.  To promote support & awareness, the Island View High School Jack.org chapter is hosting a booth at lunchtime today to hand out some free Jack swag, information on mental health week, and mental health support ribbons.  Come visit us!

• Students on the Europe Trip will be selling Freezies and snacks at lunch in the lobby on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until the end of the year.

• Intramurals Monday to Thursday from 10:45-11:20am.

• Jazz Band, Wednesday after school.

• Island View Art Club, Room 117, Mondays and Thursdays at lunch. 

• Tabletop games, Room 214 after school Tuesdays. 

• Coding club Thursday after school from 2:15 - 4 PM, room 309. Bring your Chromebook.

• Students interested in part-time work in the seafood and aquaculture industry, with the potential of earning a bursary ranging from $500-$1000 for college or university in the process, can see guidance for more information and application process.

• A reminder to staff and students that we are a scent-aware building.

• Please check the lost and found in the main office prior to the end of the week as any clothing left after that time will be donated to one of the thrift shops.
