• Know your red flags: One way to manage moments of distress is to identify key thoughts or physical sensations that tend to contribute to your cycle of distress and feelings of being overwhelmed. Actively reducing the physical symptoms can de-escalate the cycle and help you regain control.

• We are extending the deadline for "Devils got talent" submissions until Thursday, December 3rd. The link to the submission form is available on the school website, Twitter and Instagram.  "Devil's got talent" will be in the form of a video that will later be shown in class. Details of how we will record your act will be sent out later this week!

• Yearbooks are being pre-ordered online only this year. The cost of a yearbook will be $45 and the link is posted on the Island View High School website. Be sure to order your yearbooks early as there are a limited number available.

• From your Yearbook Committee:  Who will be voted most likely to go to space? or most likely to fall asleep in class?  Grade 12 students can nominate for superlatives in the Google form posted on the potential grad Google classroom. Last day to submit today.

• Grad photos can be scheduled for the following dates:

December 9
December 10

• St. FX University will be hosting a virtual information session tomorrow,  December 1st at 6:30PM. Students will learn about programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and more. Interested students can get more information and register at stfx.ca/info or check in Guidance.
