• A reminder to all grade 11 O2 students to return their permission forms for Thursday trip no later than Wednesday, end of day to Ms. McArel in room 211.  If you have not picked up your permission form, please do so as soon as possible.  Forms are available in the office.

• All potential grads have been added to the Potential Grad Google Classroom, please login to accept the invite.  If you did not receive an invite, please see Mr. White in room 309.

• Any students who are interested in helping with audio/video during the Remembrance Day Ceremony next month, please see Mr. White in room 309.

• Europe 2024. Any grade 10 and 11 student who are interested in travelling to Europe in March 2024 are asked to attend a meeting on Thursday during lunch in room 321.

• We Scare Hunger - Food drive - October 24-31. Students & staff can drop off non-perishables during school hours in a box in the main office or outside of the student council room.

• Grad photos are scheduled for November 21 – 25.  More information to follow on process.

• The application form for the IVHS multicultural fair is now available online.

• A reminder that for the rest of October, students can apply to St. FX University for free. To do so, students will need a code; this code is posted on the guidance website.

• A reminder to grade 12 students to check the updated scholarship list on the guidance website and outside the guidance office.

• A representative from St. Mary’s University will be at the school on Monday, October 31 during lunch. Students can get information on admissions, programs, scholarships and more.

• Representatives from the Army Reserves will be at the school Wednesday, November 2 during lunch to provide information about the opportunities that are available with the reserves.

• Both SMU and the Army Reserves will be located outside the guidance office.

Athletics

Congratulations to Chris Beach for finishing 36th out of 100 runners at yesterdays Provincial Cross-Country championship.

Congratulations to the boys soccer team who defeated Sommet 7-0 Friday. Scoring 3 goals was Austin Flynn, 2 goals to Patricio Cabos, and single goals to Brandon Lee and Kenny Lalonde.
